drivesmarttools.org is supported in part by affiliate relationships. When you click on links to products or services on this site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. These commissions help fund our research, testing, and publishing efforts so we can continue to provide helpful information about driving safety, tools, and accessories.
Affiliate Programs We Participate In
We participate in various affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates program and other third‑party affiliate networks. As part of these programs, we may include special tracking links that allow us to earn fees or commissions on qualifying purchases made through those links.
How Commissions Are Earned
- Tracking Links: When you click an affiliate link on drivesmarttools.org, a tracking code may be stored that identifies the originating site.
- Qualifying Purchases: If you complete a purchase within the merchant’s defined time window, we may receive a commission or referral fee at no additional cost to you.
- No Extra Cost: Commissions are paid by the merchant and do not increase the price you pay for the product or service.
Our Commitment to Honest Recommendations
Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content. Our reviews, buying guides, and recommendations are based on independent research, hands‑on testing when possible, and the best available information. We will always disclose material connections where applicable and strive to be transparent about how and why we recommend products.
Transparency and Trust
We value the trust of our readers. If a product is one we use personally or one that we recommend strongly, we will say so. Conversely, if we do not recommend an item, that judgment is made independently of any affiliate relationship. Our goal is to help you make informed decisions about driving tools and accessories.
